I think education in post-conflict societies is the most important for the effect of closing the wounds but also of creating a future for everyone. AAB has certain financial resources which make it feasible for students to not only gain like an ordinary Kosovar education in the academic field but transcend these through the means of the college and getting international staff here which can contribute also to introducing new perspectives on certain topics.
Kosovo is a great country and Prishtina is a city with very open-minded people, where you can find lots of interesting and beautiful people. AAB College as a structure is incredible and very nice. I am going to leave this summer school and I already miss Doruntina and Liridon.

Very interesting actually, I think we have learned a lot. What I liked is that the professors, most of the professors, were attentive to what the class wanted to know so they were really responding to what was our input, what kind of questions and what kind of knowledge we wanted to gain and they responded well to that, so I really enjoyed that.
Of course I would recommend this Summer School. It is the first thing when I go back to my country, because I have been in international atmosphere so much. I am working in international summer camps, but it is the first place that I also have both fun and lectures, and I am thinking of coming again if you conduct it again.
I think it was just an awesome experience because we’ve done a lot of things either in the class or we had a lot of interesting trips and so on and I think it was just an amazing group because it was so international, so we had a lot of people from abroad but also a lot of local people, so in general it was just amazing.
I am enjoying myself a lot. I think it’s very interesting. I haven’t been through the region before, so this is my first time here in Kosovo and it’s a great experience. I love people, they are very open and I like to communicate with them also to see this beautiful scenery and the city so I’m having a very good time here.
It’s interesting to have different insights from different professors and lecturers on the field. They all come from different universities and they give their insights on the topic. It’s interesting to have people from the region who are experts in the topic of Post-conflict development, to learn about it and they could teach us and it’s a very nice opportunity.
The study trips were really exciting. Skopje was something really wonderful and meeting the Parliament President was something special and honorable to us. I think, his experience sharing was really inspiring to all of us and the Tetovo Municipality trip also, meeting the first Albanian mayor to be there. I mean
we really touched some critical issues of politics in all the regions we visited.
